Forged motor = 15 or so depending on set-up tune etc, etc.
Stock motor = 8psi or so, some have done more but won't last too long unless meth, fmic, or other precautions are taken. These are general guidelines of course and there are people who have pushed them a bit and continue to do so. The main thing is the tune!

I was thinking about asking this question too. For your forged 346, what parts did you use and how much did it cost? Thx.

When I bought my Forged 346 it was bit more expensive since I switched cams and had someone do the install due to me not having a garage at the time. Mine was around $4K for rebuild with all new components and Forged rods/pistons, etc, etc... That was in 2003.

I run 12.5 PSI on my stock LS6 motor with meth, over 200 passes and a perfect daily driver, still going strong. Best MPH 145, best ET 9.80. Its all in the tune. I also run cats and stock exhaust...
My car looks and sounds stock, what a sleeper!

Some of you must have missed my earlier statement... I will add it in here again.

Well that tune tells the injectors how much fuel to add to the amount of air coming in and also works with a lot of other variables dealing with the motor. It is the brain that controls everything and keeps it within limits to ensure it runs correctly and safely...
