Here's a video clip containing that train blower and some other stuff about the car.

If the links broke, search "train blower" on streetfire.net.

My dad's friend has a car with a blower about a 1/3 of the size of that thing and he is having trouble seeing the tree, so I don't know how he would ever drive it. I love blown cars to death, but I think that is kinda stupid looking.

at the track he's just going to look at the white straight... 1/3 of the windshield visibility.

Yeah, but what I'm saying is that I don't think he'd be able to see the tree when staging, so unless he works that problem out, it wouldn't be competitive. Come to think of it, I doubt they would let him use that in competition anyways.

my question is how much that blower added in weight.
M6, Lid, Ported and Polished Throttle Body (By Me!), LT, Custom Catted Y, Electric Cutout, PHB, LCA13.21@108 with a 2.3 60'

I guess you have to give the guy credit for getting it to work but it sure is ugly. Not to mention pretty pointless since it's putting out so much boost you can't drive it. The guy said he blipped the throttle when they started and blew both head gaskets. I'd like to hear it though and would like to see it go if they can figure out how to keep the engine together.

Yeah, some cars have problems seeing with PSI or whipple blowers and a lot of classes don't allow them, so this thing is exhibition only, if he can make it work.
