    Anyone heard of this?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDMS-...item19b54ffcb8

Has anyone heard of this turbo kit? I was just curious if it would work for what I have in mind. I dont want anything insane, just decent power increase and the turbo sound. Is it worthwhile or am I better off spending more $ for a known name brand kit? Thanks for any input. I have no idea what I am in for with Turbo kits. Always been an NA guy.

Too small for our application I think. A t3/t4 is what someone might put on a 2.x litre engine... I used to hang out with a guy that had that type of kit on his 1.8L integra. Even if that kit fits (it won't without a lot of fabbing), you still need a bigger turbo. Look at that piping... there's no y-pipe, which you'd need to combine the exhaust from each manifold into a single inlet pipe to the turbo.

You'd be better off to do a cam, exhaust and intake.

I'm going to do Turbo or S/C with this car. The last 3 cars I owned have been N/A. I want to make sure I do everything right though, and I dont know too much about turbos. That's why I was asking. I figured this one was too good to be true because of the price.

This is a kit that would work well on something japanese... You can buy a kit for a scion or civic or something in those lines pretty cheaply, and this would be a reasonly good start for that type of application it looks like. Don't plan on FI being cheap...

Doing it right, and doing it cheaply aren't two things that go well together with FI...

i hope ur joking right? 1 the turbo will blow in a month. 2 the turbo is so small its going to become a restriction after like 4500rpm. 3 thats not a complete kit. 4 ud have another 1000 in manifolds relocation brackets and other crud, unless u do a rear mount in where ud need another 30 feet and bends of piping oil lines and other stuff. 5 it says jdms (japanese domestic market) why would u even look at that? a new turbo is going to cost u 900 bucks, if u see a kit for less than that new, quickly look away

You can type just about any car in, and they will have an add for it with the same exact kit. Its just a generic kit.

I'm actually leaning more and more towards a Procharger the more I find out about FI.

I'm using 2- t3/t4 TO4E's and the turbos are huge.

The main problem I've heard with the JDM turbos is oil blowby, too many folks just stick oil lines to them without a pressure restricter, hence the blowby. Mirage Power has desent turbos @ a good price. Mine have a replacement warranty aswell..

    haha

Sorry, never heard that about a t3/t4 before. Though I am sure that 2 of them would do the job.

What does that make this T6 hybrid with a 5" downpipe?
