A turbo kit for under $1000? That's pretty funny.
I have never heard of them and the fact that NO number is listed and only an e-mail is a HUGE RED FLAG IMO.

I have e-mailed them, and they said it was a complete kit. The thing I'm interested in is the hot pipes, and cold pipes with intercooler, and everthing else is worth $1000, if bought separatly. You could always upgrade to a well known turbo, and still get a decent deal. That is basically what my plans are, along with a Racetronix fuel pump, and some 60 lb. siemens injectors.
That is of course, if Frost thinks he can tune for this setup.Last edited by Hwystar; 12-24-2010 at 08:03 AM.

I'm getting a Procharger and have done quite a bit of research on FI. I still am in the process of doing more.
Frost cannot mail order tune for a FI set-up. he can only get the car up and running decent with the new 60-lb injectors. You will still need to get it to a DYNO shop that knows LSX engines to get it tuned.
Good luck.

[QUOTE=35th-ANV-SS;2524835]Well what you can do is leave your stock injectors in and just not get on it. You CANNOT install the 60-lb injectors and drive your car without a tune. As soon as it makes boost you're SOL.[/QUOTE
I know, SOL is a way of life here. So far it looks more like I'll be on a parts gathering mission, than an actual build. Maybe I can find a tuner in Washington and go from there.

Well. I stayed away from the ebay kits. Instead I went with a Masterpower T70 turbo, flanges, wastegate, bov, oil lines, drain kit, and an oil distribution block. And stayed under $1300.00. Now to to start putting all the other parts together.

I have 2 of those turbos from them and the first thing I had to do was send them to a machine shop to be inspected..
I went with them because spending 10k on a basicly experimental project for name brand turbines would have been retarded..
Conversly for you, I'd go with something a little more up scale since it has been done many times on your engine platform..
Oh and trust me, that kit will NOT come with everything you'll need.....
FI and "cheap" rarely if ever go hand in hand.. Just my .02Last edited by Smittro; 01-04-2011 at 11:58 AM.
