Advice from the procharger guys please

Bought a used procharger p-1sc kit, the only thing im missing is fuel pump and injectors. What are you guys using in your set up? Like I said its a p-1sc 8 rib kit with about 8-12psi, head and cam pkg,FAST 90 intake, and long tube headers. Any sugestions? I would like to use a intank pump. Thanks

For my D1SC setup I'm currently running a racetronix intank pump and #60 Injectors.

Injectors are overkill right now but they won't be in the spring.

Make sure you get 1% FM injectors. Harris carries them as well as the fuel pump system.

When injectors come from the factory their flow can vary as much as 12% from one to the next (in some cases more / duds).

Racetronix takes all the injectors and runs various tests on them in our custom flow-bench to get each injector's flow data.

This flow data is entered into our database and sorted.

When an order comes in we hand pick each injector from the database so that every one in the set is within 1%.

People ask why this is important. Imagine if you had injectors that were 4-6% down in some of the leaner cylinders in your motor. It will prevent you from reaching your max HP w/o knocking or even worse take out a cylinder.

There are some vendors out there who use off the shelf injector test machines such as Asnu and New Age. These machines are not accurate by any stretch of the imagination and where never designed to be used as lab equipment which is what it takes to properly flow injectors. This is why you will find companies like Racetronix. PTE and RC who have built their own custom test equipment.

I have read about alot of people loosing cylinder #7 cause it gets lean, do you know of any way of preventing that? Maybe run that injector a little fat?

Yes, some dealers buy what we term here as 'offset injectors'.
On a LS1 motor the cylinders get leaner towards the back and #7 is the worst. We can supply injectors with increasing % flow from front to back to offset this problem. Turbo import customers have been doing this for years.

We should add that dealers do not generally stock offset injectors. They must be special ordered for each customer's requirements.
