is a 12 bolt strong enough for a procharger
Also is a moser or strange 12 bolt strong enough for a procharger that isnt raced at the track? im estimating around 500-550 rwhp and it will not be raced at the track except for my first run after the procharger is on and after that im pretty sure ill be sub 12's and i think they enforce the roll cage after 12's but maybe its 11's im not sure

11.50 and under requires a roll bar. 10.00 and under requires a certified sportsman cage.

It's 11.49 or fast here for a roll cage.

run it once, balls out...and if you get under the time the track has for any type of roll cage/DS safety loop/helmet, you just can't run it again there until you install that.
Luckily I have 2 tracks by me...one goes by the rules...and the other is a mom and pop place that the tech inspection is near non-existent.

Haha yea no kidding. I'm gonna buy an aftermarket stall just not a big one. Like I said it won't be raced at the track so not very many hard launches, more like downshifting to pass at 50-60 mph with it floored.

A helmet and a DS safety loop are simple items that should be don no matter what. Most tracks won't allow you to race unless you wear a helmet. Roll cage well I still don't have one and still have to dodge the track officials everywhere I go. If you are going to keep it a DD then don't add a cage unless you want your ride quality to suffer.
Also a 12 bolt is plenty strong to hold the power you are looking at making and they are lighter than a 9" Rear end.

I heard that the Dana 60 and Mid West rear ends have the least amount of whine/noise. I sat in an 01 SS with a 12 bolt and 4.56's and that thing was HOWWWWLLLING!!!
