    Texas is up over 500k

but for a state that size to hit 100k that quickly is pretty damn impressive

It is a decent size state we just don't have as many people as a lot of others. Like almost everything else in WI we are in the middle lol. We have so many hunters here, more than Texas actually. There are also a lot of gun clubs. There is around a dozen or so gun clubs or shooting ranges within a hour of me. Many people have been sitting on there hands for years waiting for this.

The real issue though is what happens after you do use your firearm. In Milwaukee county if you discharge a firearm, whether it be accident or even on purpose in a justified shooting you gun is taken as evidence. You have to go to multiple court dates and have multiple judges stamp your documents in order to get the gun back. This means taking multiple days off of work as there is no chance of getting all the court dates set on one day.

So yes the Gov. did what tehy said and got us CCW but there are still too many hoops to jump through if you ever do use it.
