I have to agree with this report. Never fire a warning shot since it does give the intruder a chance to draw a weapon. The police are trained to shoot to kill. No difference here, always shoot to kill. Just make sure it is the only choice you have. Remember, once a bullet is fired you can't take it back.

LEO's are not trained to kill, just to hit center mass of the torso of a human body unless they are SWAT Sniper Certified.

They are first trained to defused the situation using the minimal amount of force necessary, unlike my training in the Army were we use the maximum amount to achieve mission success.

I know each state has their version of "Castle Doctrine" but I have never seen one that states "a warning shot should be taken prior to shooting an intruder/attacker".
