Those are nice guns. Pricey but nice.

Is it a piston or DI action?

So piston.... thanks. Both DI and piston have there pros and cons but piston is better for a large majority of people IMO.

Yes, figured I'd post the pic since the AK aspect is interesting.

Piston has been around for a while in ARs. Just not as long as DI has as that is the original design. It is better in almost everyway though. More reliable, less heat, cleaner chamber etc. The only downsides are they are slightly less accurate and DI can be converted to suppressed vs un-suppressed more easily. But only a real competition nut would notice the difference in accuracy. Most people who shoot just for fun won't notice the difference in acc.

Thanks! I'm surprised you'd even be able to get one in CO at this point. Though I suppose they just cracked down on the magazine size.

The gun is no issue, and neither are the mags really

How are you able to get the mags? Every time I order them I see the notice saying unable to sell/ship to certain states with CO being one of them. Or do you live close enough to a neighboring state lol

I love the weapon but at almost $1.00 per pull of the trigger it just dose not seem to fit in my budget since I have so many other guns at home that would have to go hungry.

I'm a fan of the 308. My current AR build is a 7.62...hopefully I'll quit being lazy and have it done by the end of the year.

This is my first .308. My other AR is an LWRC 6.8 SPC 14.5" barrel.

Buddy of mine has a 308 and he loves it. I've got a 223 but decided to do something different and go 7.62 with the new build because 7.62 ammo is so cheap and easy to find.
