Hi-point
Anyone have any experience with hi-point? I know they're a cheap brand but I been reading reviews and supposedly their carbines are not too bad.

I have a 40 cal pistol and it has perfomed pretty well for about 6 years now. But it never had a whole bunch of rounds through it either. For a cheap gun they are okay. If you want a cheap gun I would suggest a Cobra same price but seem more solid to me.

Eh. Hi point pistols are shit. You might as well wipe your ass with $150, then carry a hammer to throw at your attacker.
The carbines are awesome for their price. Go figger!
Keltec sub 2000 is a great one too, and it folds up and takes Gg17 or S&W5906 mags.
As for cobra, you might as well drive a pinto and bang fat chicks.

ive been reading mixed reviews on these guns....with the pistols, some people say that they are awesome and never had a failure...some say that they fail after a few hundred rounds...some just flat out hate them..the carbines on the other had have no bad reviews that i can find...

Speaking of the hi-point carbines.
I just bought the .45 version this past Saturday w/ a red dot scope. For the price I love it so far. Only problem with the .45 I have no found any extended mags as of yet.
