Not bad, but ohnestly not that impressed with it. For the money it should easily trapping 200 in the mile. Guessing that had QUITE a bit to do with the gearing though. Still not bad for a DD grocery getter.

Just stop and think: This car is faster than your car. The word that comes to minds is Hatter!

its a 10' so even if it was stock it would be the lsa 550hp ..but its the hennessy edition so its pushing 7xxhp.

6th gear i presumed is an overdrive..so nothing to be gained really.

adam is actually right..this car is very expensive..id think 200 would be a good target...

and also DD'ing a 700 car is not always the best idea..and knowing HMS they probably stretched the car and its parts to the limits..trying to change as little as possible and charge as much as possible.

if you are spending in the 100k+ you better trap 200 in the mile

it would take a lot more power to push a 4222lb car to 200 in a mile, hell a veryon traps just over 200 in a standing mile

yes your point being ?? i never said that for 7xx hp it should be trapping 200...i said for 100k+ from a aftermarket company..it should be aiming for 200.......

Thought it was same transmission they use in the ZR1.... if thats the case then 6th is the gear for top speed at least it is in the ZR1.

Hatter? Hardly. Is this car faster than my C6? Yup. I also paid 60-70k less than that vehicle. If I stuck even 20k in my C6 that ctsv would be lunch for me. My T/A I sold before the vette would have raped that car so hatter is not me. Just not impressed for the money. I respect performance, but when I see cars that cost an arm and a leg they better perform. For me the Hennessy Cts-v doesn't cut it. A stock one is amazing for the price. That's about were it stops. If you haven't spent the money on something like this you wouldn't know.

gearing is 16 % longer in the zr1 i believe but the TR-6060 does use 6th as overdrive

my bad, must have misread your post, i agree with that if you spend that much. if they want 40 grand for 150hp thats f*cking retarded but i can find no listing for price yet

Its probably more aerodynamics than anything else. Its tough for a vette, viper, ferrari, etc to top 200 in a standing mile and they are far more aerodynamic.
