    Cool WOOHOO! I'm wireless!!

My laptop was delivered today. It has taken FOREVER to get it lined out, set up the way I want, and everything figured out. This WI-FI wireless stuff is pretty sweet. I don't know who's internet signal I'm on right now but it's faster than my cable modem on my desktop. I'll be calling Insight in the morning and cancelling my broadband account I guess. I got the wireless optical notebook mouse and some other stuff today. Is there anything else I need?

sweet man, i remember when i got my laptop about 2 years ago, we got a wireless router and I was good to go, it is neat having wireless, especially if you have cable internet through wireless, blazing fast WITH NO WIRES

Very nice! I've got wireless at home too. I use my notebook for it but my two desktops are hard wired.

Why not get a replacement battery? My notebook is a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Bluetooth and Vista Business. I hop on it anywhere in the house.

Yes, you should. This is your mom you're talking about here. She's easily worth that chunk of change for putting up with your arse for all those years.
