    Windows 7

My brother got a new laptop and when he goes to a forum with banners, like the ones here from our sponsers, it doesnt open up a new tab or a new page. Nothing happens. Does that happen with all Win 7's? or could it be with the forum he is on?

Is he trying to go to one of the sites that the banner links to?

I would guess that its a browser issue. Maybe the security settings in IE are blocking all popups?

Also there are some forums that open websites in the current window instead of opening them in a separate tab or window.

I'll bet pop ups are being blocked too.

What browser are you using? It's not an OS issue.

Agreed with everything said above, gotta be a browser issue. IE or FF though should say 'a popup has been blocked' in the top to notify him.
