    Cool what programming language do you know?

    I'll start...

    .NET (vb and C#), HTML/DHTML, VBscript, Javascript, PHP, Perl, C/C++, Java, Pascal, Assembler. and I am sure I am forgetting a few... hahaha

    1998-SS, 2010 Jetta TDI

    yea i used to know assembler, binary for one machine, and a bit of C, but it was for a required course that was hella gay and i just brain dumped it on the exam

    Hello again UCONN man! I graduated in 1999 from UCONN with a computer science and engineering degree + math minor. I think I took 2 more extra math courses for that minor

    Cobol yeah. never did that, but I tried Fortran for 1 semester in college. oh and I just
    messed around with QBasic, since I had to help out my wife in school this semester with some projects... had to write a mini game in QBasic ...

    qbasic was fun to... i made a little rpg game back in high school... took 5 mins to beat...

    back when i was learning there was basic, C++, and pascal...

    .NET for the win, Java is in decline. unless you wanna get into game programming and 3D modeling soft programming. one thing that I always wanted to get into as a hobby was
    robotics and the programming of them. like a little mini toy and give it commands to move different parts, activate a web cam and infra-red sensor stuff like that...

    yup you're right, 2 extra classes, i just finished up my last required math course today

    im an engineer so the math minor is deff worth goin for, i could never do CSE

    I've used Basic, Pascal, Java, C++, C, PHP, Ruby, Visual Basic, ASP, Javascript.

    A few notes:

    Visual Basic is an abomination.

    HTML is not a programming language, it's a text markup language.

    Probably my favorite language is PHP, because it's so easy to create dynamic websites.

    C++ is very powerful and is much more fun than java.
