How much ram are you using with vista just at idle. My Vista PC is using almost 900 megs! It has to be the slowest OS I've ever used so far.

I'm keeping XP on my main PC, but it was time to start testing with Vista. So far I'm not liking it to much. The PC I use most of the time still has W2K on it!

one of my roomates had vista and I played around with it kind of some cool fetures but way to many problems. I found myself yelling at it more than anything. If i where a little more proficiant with computer progaming I would get Linux, my uncle uses it and wow at some of the cool things you can do with that OS.

I run vista with no problems at all on my school laptop. On my desktop I run linux for everything and boot to xp if there is a game I cant run with WINE on linux,

XP pro edition on lappy and desktop computers and Windows ME on my old crap one which is soon going to be on SUSE because I need to learn Linux sooner or later.
