Is there a way to play my itouch wirelessly through speakers

I want to know if there is a way to play music from my itunes on my itouch to my laptop wirelessly. I have computer speakers connected to my laptop in my room but want to be able to control the music/volume wirelessly from my touch. I have looked online and have come accross a device apple sells but im sure there is a way around that like an app maybe, free or not. Figured i'd look for advice here first as always lol. thnks
