Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
Star Trek Online
I'm dabbling in the world of the MMO and bought Star Trek Online last night.
inb4 "ZOMG PLAY WoW" or only did it for the zerg rush....
STO appeals to me. I was a trek fan and it seems like since launch they've ironed out some of the problems people had with it on day one.
My question is. How many fellow LS1 members are on STO? I'd like to get a fleet together if i could. I belonged to a nice one prior to the games launch but was so dissapointed with the inital reviews that i left.
Now that i'm in.... I see the USS Firehawk NCC 0036-SLP coming out of drydock soon
So.... anyone else grinding the friendly skies?

OK... so the USS Firehawk with captain Dylan "Nightwing" Aquila is now a member of starfleet.
My ship is based of the old Miranda class light cruiser (cue "KKKHHAAAAAANNNNN!!!!!" clip)
a custom design with a decidedly avian paint scheme. deep blue in color naturally. goes well with my bird theme heh heh.
Cmon folks let's get an LS1 fleet!!

I played it in beta... as much as a star trek nerd I am, I hated the game.

i really want to get into the game but i don't think my computer could handle it and i have very little time to dedicate to such a game right now.

Right there is your problem. I patiently waited for the game. never got into the beta and was let down by early reviews. I haven't got into any PvP content yet as i'm just learning the ropes at the moment. But navigation is fairly straightforward. Performance is excellent even on my 2.5 year old laptop.
I've managed to get promoted to Lt. and have only 1 open slot for bridge officer at the moment.
I like big guns so I plan on getting a huge cruiser... like a galaxy or something. The game so far is good fun. I can't wait to get home and take Lt. Dylan "Nightwing" Aquila and the USS Firehawk on another adventure.... BTW Aquila = Eagle in italian

Yea.. I tried it very late beta right before it closed, I may give it another shot, but I'm a very very big pvper and I heard Star Trek online isn't the greatest for PvP.
I have way too many games to play now though, currently trying to finish Castlevania before I jump into Fable 3 and Fallout: New VegasLast edited by Aetos; 10-19-2010 at 11:50 AM.
