haha... I ate too much taco bell trying the same.

ended up throwing a bunch of old games, broken fat 60 gig ps3 and some stiff out of garage on craigslist and had more than enough to cover cost. think my ps3 was almost 300 more seven years ago.

out of the box you get two okay free games, resogun and contrast. two ftp games, warframe abd dcuo. 30 days of plus membership and a ten dollar store credit.

I'm kinda pissed off that you need to have a Playstation Plus account to play online now. That was the biggest reason I bought the Sony over the Microsoft. You didn't need to pay any fees to play on their network.

I've been buying psplus for 3 years now (since my fat ps3 ate it and lost all saves) and it's worth the 50 a year. Every Tue they release a free game and once a month they're supposed to give a free ps4 game. I've accumulated about 80 games over the past few years.

I do agree that it shouldn't be required tho.

My kids love the Lego marvel game and neighbor just let me borrow knack. I died on the first enemy...

Now that it's a paid subscription service, they better do a better job in the support department. I gave up trying to play any first person shooters on the PS3 public servers. Way too much hacking/glitching.

How is PS4 online?

Truthfully I haven't done to muchonline. Played ac4 and then Lego marvel with my kids.

I got so burned out from cod and battlefield that I haven't even tried em. They have five or so free games out at the moment.

Warframe is fun ftp game and others I know liked dcuo.

Finally got one Sunday. Great upgrade, I can finally hold a PS controller and not have my hands cramp.

Also got Battlefield 4 - game play ok, but storyline - sucked. I swear the dialog between the characters pissed me off. You're character never said one word in the entire play.

also activate your free trial for plus and grab free games.not sure if don't starve is still free but outland came out free tue(horror mental asylum game).

Contrast and resogun are also still free.my buddy's that don't have ps4 still go to the store and purchase the free game of the week whether it's a ps3, ps4 or via game. Once it's in your download list you own it as long as your a plus member.

Just got a PS4 this weekend. Upgraded my PS3 versions of BF4 and CoD, downloaded all the currently free PS+ games, and got Knack for the family to play. All look fantastic on my new 60". Need to get a 2.5/3.5mm cable so I can use my TB's for chat. Bluetooth isn't compatible (which is garbage).

No dice. I'll most likely have to wait for them to be stocked up like I did with the 4. And this time around I have 3 other gamers in the house wanting one (wife and two boys)...we currently have 3 Pros and a Slim...

Well, the PS5 launch was a huge mess, from what I've heard. Many bots pre-ordering it before us. Damn these Russian bots! First, they mess with the 2016 election, and now, they have them mass pre-ordering our PS5s.
