photoshop wtf? gurus enter:

soooooooo by some random button combo or somethin or other, photoshop has gone screwy on me... and its pissing me the hell off.

no matter what tool i pick, the mouse remains the hand scroller only, it will chagne into nothing else. wtf is going on? like if i click lasso, its still a hand, click magnifier, it stays a hand.

Try clicking the tool you want. Move your mouse over the picture and then press the space bar.
It should change to the tool you selected....

wierd... it worked... but i haven't had to do that in like the 5 years ive been playing with ps. any idea what i did to make that happen?

No idea. Mine has always been that way. I have CS4.
