Home and End buttons stopped working on firefox

yea a couple of weeks ago my home and end buttons stopped working out of the blue, i'm sure its because of something i inadvertently did, but i cant figure out how to make them work right again,

the only way they work now is if i push ctrl + home / end simultaneously
this is annoying because when i post here i need to go back to the top of the page, bottom to post etc....

any thoughts on what is causing this annoying ass problem

Click your mouses' third button and move you cursor to the top of the screen. Same effect.

yea i could do that, but i have that button set up for double click, and when i'm at home ie now, i just use the touchpad, and it sucks to not have those buttons

does it just not work in firefox? or every program on your computer? if its just on firefox then uninstall and reinstall.

yea you think you're that fucking smart, i know re installing a program would fix the problem, but i also know re installing a program can be a bitch and cause more problems. There is something else going on that is causing my problem
