GT5 official!!!!!

78 days from today, aug 17, 2010. GT5 will release. The sickeningly maddeningly delayed game finally has a solid concrete release date of Nov 3, 2010.

nearly 1000 cars. Probably the best physics on the market. amazing graphics..... i'm far too excited to say anything else!

no clue on the trans am. though forza 3 has quite a few F-bodies.... it would be wise of PD to include them in this game.

I bet the first 720 cars in the game are the same cars that were in GT4 with the other roughly 300 being cars released in the last 6 years since GT4 came out plus more classic cars added.

I just hope they actually got the handling right this time. IMO forza 3 feel more real than any GT game so far. Did anyone play the demo? How were the sounds and feel of the cars? Does a built chevelle still sound like a inline 3.0 liter lol

yes.... yes I have.... I've played EVERY NFS game except undercover. Yes that includes the original Road and Track Presents: The Need for Speed.

Arcade.... does not impress me.

sad to say it but im not excited. i love the gt series but gt5 was supposed to be an original release game. as in it was supposed to be available since the ps3 was out. the prologue was an overglorified nissan demo. which sure it was a demo but nissan. seriously? this game better give free blowjob at ces/sema coupons. or im gonna be pissed.

NFS games equal fun, but they are arcade games and not sims. Sim's are what most people want. Sales tell it all! I'll buy the new NFS game for sure, why not have that and Forza and have best of both worlds! If I owned a PS3 I would be all over GT5 before NFS!

I have an Xbox 360 and ONLY have Forza 3. I've driven nearly EVERY car in that game. I also drove all 720 cars in GT4. I love sim style driving. I love being able to tune the cars. I love the realistic handling. I love improving my line and style with every lap and actually being able to learn car control in the game that is applicable in real life.

NFS is fun.. It's flashy and it's entertaining. But when i want to DRIVE.... I want a real drivers seat from a car.... i want a Logitech G series racing wheel with clutch pedal and 6 speed gated shifter. I want a leather wrapped wheel and realistic feedback.... I want the only thing more real.... to be me in a real car driving on a real track.
