anyone have any issues with it not wanting to connect to sites? I just upgraded from 7 because my wife was having trouble with a damn coupon site ( never got that figured out either) and now I'm having a helluva time getting some sites to load in a tab. If I open another tab while the first one is still trying to connect it'll open fine in the second tab. Knew I should've never upgraded.

IE 8 is still terrible.

I would try Firefox or Chrome. Both are faster, safer, and more customizable.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but like others have stated, use Firefox or Chrome. I rarely use IE, except for testing when working on websites.

I read this thread a few days ago and decided to try chrome. So far I love it, took a little getting use to but I like it better than IE. Tried firefox awhile back but did not care for it and went back to IE, I don't think I will be going back this time. Chrome FTW.

yeah, I've been trying it the last couple of days. Not having the issues I've been having with IE 8 but I'd still like to tell you to go screw yourself.

Remove the add ons for IE8 that are causing the problem.

That's what I ended up doing.

I have all three installed on this laptop. I use ie8 most. I use firefox for photobucket though. Don't use chrome much at all anymore.
