Can I Steal some cable... lol

I'll probally offend someone on here but just wondering if this is possible.

I currently have the comcast tripple play and was wondering if I just downgrade my service to just cable tv and go out and buy a motem if I can just plug it in and use internet. I mean I have to cable lines already comming into the house so just wondering what I might have to do to make this work.
I have heard certain motems will work and others will not

I think that's spelled modem bud, and some folks like me have a usb router instead of a modem. However stealing cable is unlawfull. So anyone giveing you advise on how to steal it and or what to use to steal it would be aiding and abedding a crime. I would'nt try it bud really just keep paying your bill and continue staying legal.

if you're going to steal it, mooch it from your neighbor's unsecured network.

The modem is actually tracked in the system and has to be "turned on" by the MAC Address for the modem.

It is Modem... or if you're from Kantucky, it's a modeeum.

Also, I know I'm right, that's why I posted. You have a fantastic gift for the obvious. But I gather you know that already. I love how you correct my spelling, yet leave out punctuation in your own post. Now see if we take out your meaningless corrections, we have a post consisting of two sentence fragments.
