    I wonder if the wasps went to the camera b/c they smelled "human" on it or...if the guy was still standing behind the tripod when he blew them up?

    probably had a bright colored cloth or something on the camera would be my guess. As a kid my older brother and I would get rid of wasp nests out of my uncles tractor sheds. We would take a soup can and fill it up with diesel fuel and throw on the nests and run like hell. It's amazing how fast those wasps are. I never tried to outrun the wasps, I just tried to outrun my brother.
