what would you do before 125 shot
what would be suggested befor running a 125 shot, would a fule pump and injectors be a good idea for that shot
also what are the rpms to set my window switch at for an lt1 6 speed.

I would put a pair of V-6 rear springs in the car so it could try to hook up.
Then I would put in a Walbro 255 pump.
Rpm depends on traction. Are you rumming a pair of drag radials?
Stock cam?
Stock tune on computer?Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

the general rule is, you don't want to spray under 3000 rpm because the fuel may puddle in the intake and cause a back fire, and you absolutly DON'T want to spray into the rev limiter as it cuts fuel, which equals way lean and kaboom!
...lol I just noticed you have an LT1. sooo...not sure if that all applies the same.
Also I noticed you said you have a PCM chip, like a mail order chip? if so, if it's not set up for a nitrous tune and just a regular tune, it's probably advancing timing so I would be careful with that.

yea its a chip you order on the internet everything your have on your car you tell them and they make a custom chip just for mods then when your get something else you send it in and they will re do it. so that should be fine right becasue it will be tuned becasue of the chip, what would you cut it off at to keep it away from the rev lim, it reds at 5800

I would set it about 200 rpm before rev limiter. not sure when the rev limiter comes on for an LT1.
ok I found this on the net
Stock rev limiter settings in the PCM for an LT1 with the M6 are 5,886 rpm in 1st gear, and 5,805 rpm in all other gears
Or you can see if the people who you send the chip to can up the rev limiter to 6000 and use the 5800 pill. this is all just guesses just so you know, I don't have much experience with LT1's.

Do you guys really need to change out the fuel pump? I figured LS1's were fine on a 125shot after you change the plugs...

For a $100 insurance plan for the nitrous why not? I have sprayed 250 with the stock pump for a year but that doesn't make it right or safe. Pumps have came down in price in the past few years. I always change now but then again that 125shot is also ALWAYS temporary too.

B&G Custom T-70- Laser Red '95 Mustang GT
I personally think the access plate is a little bit ghetto unless you like hacking holes in your unibody. And yeah.. what a royal pain in the ass a fuel pump is on those cars.
I put 2 Walbros in that I got from Grenatelli. First one didn't last long, turned out it was a Mustang pump and they had sent me the wrong frikken part. I had modified the housing (as I had heard that you had to do with some aftermarket pumps so I wasn't to alarmed) and it ran good for a while and then started to sputter. So I got another one from Grenatelli. I never even told them about their screw up, figured it was 1/2 my fault for not knowing that they had sent me a Mustang pump, I was 19 at the time. It is worth mention that the instructions were some generic ones for '82-'02. The second one was was the correct part. So I got a new sending unit and installed it and it lasted... a while. Turns out some of the Walbro pumps are cheapos and some are not, so make sure you do a little bit of research and get a GOOD Walbro pump. I can't remember exactly but I think some of them are Chinese or some crap.
