Black SVT & Silver WS6- 2003 SVT Cobra & 2002 WS6
What Set Up Would Be Right For Me?
Hey guys, let me start out by saying I know absolutely nothing when it comes to nitrous oxide systems. With that said, I have a 02 WS6. As of now, I have K&N, lid, Dynatech Header Exhaust System, Borla Cat-Back, Granatelli, Thermostat 160 degree and a few other minor things. Within the next 4 months I will be putting Patriot Heads (stage II), cam, rockers, springs,(and all the other little essential things) FAST LSX Intake Manifold, Throttle Body, and Fuel Rail Kit (all 90mm). I also plan on doing some suspension work too.
After I get done with all the mods that I plan on doing in the next few months, I plan on running a nitrous system. My question for yall is what would be the most beneficial system for me to run on my set up and what could i expect from it? I want to run a direct-port system... so if yall could help a fellow LS1 'brother' out, I’d really appreciate it! ! !
Thanks- Corona

The Nitrous Express NXL system is pretty cool. You should look at it.

ok, reread what he's been getting for answers from NX. it comes with 180 rwhp jets. you can buy 250rwhp jets. even they are steering him away from it.

well i guess i will be the honest one hear.. dont run a 150 or a 200 shot on your motor unless you are planning on buying a new motor. be safe stick with a 100 shot.. besides a 100 shot will get you about 125 at the tires and over 100 lbs of torque... stay away from alot unless your shits built for it

wow, glad you are so honest and i'm such a liar. wish my 150 shot got me more than it was advertised at. so far, my 150 has netted me 130 rwhp.

Anything less than 150 shot is a tail wind.

I was thinking no more than a 200 shot.

You can run up to 150 shot on a stock car. My transAm has handled it very well and it pulls hard.
