What nitrous and how much timing

Well ive had nitrous before on my 93 Z and thats a bit different then my 01 LS1. I wanted to go with HSW wet kit and run about 100 shot, i had this kit before on my 93Z with 150 shot it worked ok other then failed nitrous solenoids. Im going with this system and colder plugs TR6 just like i had before. As far as the tune is concerned how much timing should i pull on the LS motors, on my 93 LT1 for 150 shot i pulled 6 degrees out, pcm for less chip. The car ran fine with nitrous, no issues and if i pulled anything less then 6 it would stumble and miss a bit on the top end. Talking to the people that i purchased nitrous from they said pull 2 degrees out for every 50 hp and i find that to be true after doing many tests and asking many people who sell and run there cars on nitrous.

On the other hand i dont know the LS motors well and ive heard all you have to do is take just 1 degree out for 100 shot of nitrous. Now were do you put the nitrous nozzle at, on my 93 i had it on the elbow but on the 01 Z28 do i put it on the SLP lid before the MAF or do i tap into the smooth bellow after the MAF. Sorry for the long post, just want to make sure i ask all the questions before going into this mod, its a different motor for me and want to get it right, thanks in advance.

As for the timing retard, as a general rule, you'll need to pull 2* for a 100 shot and between 3.5 - 4* for a 150 shot.

A couple of degrees will be fine. Four * of timing will make performance off the bottle suck.

if you get a wet kit it will go in the bellows but if it is dry it will go before the maf

the timing sounds right to me,i ran a 150 shot without pulling any timing and never had a problem,i dont recommend this though always better to be safe
