    Thinking of nitrous

    Wuts the max nitrous an LS1 block could handle. I was thinking 150 shot, and where wood that put me in terms of hp/#'s if my car is making close to 370whp and im running mid 12's in the 1/4??

    If you want to run safe just spray 150 shot. Hp numbers not really sure. 1/4 you could see some low 11's to even high 10's depending on what mods you have on your Trans Am.

    i've put 250 to my stock motor. in theory, a 150 shot will knock off 1.5 seconds. up to you to make it happen.

    That 150 shot can be handled safely on your stock block just fine.If it's a NX kit it will give you 148-156 to the tires so..... that would be 518-526 your new hp #'s.
    Unless you have a TOTAL suspension working for weight transfer you'll probably see 11.20's-11.40's. Traction will be your new problem. You didn't state weather you were a clutch car or auto......... Alot more will depend on the driver if it is a clutch car.
    I would recommend atleast upgrading your fuelpump to a Walbro 255 when doing the install.
