I hit mine at the launch, with the WOT switch for the full 1/4 pass. As far as the street, I don't... Mine just spins the tires... Even at 60 mph... Keep the shiny side up !!!

Spinning the tires @ 60mph? How much are you spraying and what kind of tire are you running?

I spray mine (100hp wet) starting at 3000rpm in 1st and keep in it until I'm at the other end of the track! On the street my car gets loose in 1st, but hooks up fine past that point.

150 shot, but it might be the 4600 stall convertor. It flashes pretty good. As far as tires, M/T Drag Radials. I can't get them to hook on the street, but love them on the track !!!

You should give the M&H's a try! They hook way better on the street and the track. Yes they do wear faster but it is weather your trying to spank that STI on the street out the gate or not.......

On the nitrous hit it from a dead stop and see how it does! If it blows the tires off then try it in second. I would walk to the back of your car and push on the corner and see if you can depress the car at all...... If not your springs are WAY to stiff. Go to the junkyard and get a pair of used coils from a V-6 car and put them in in 20 min....... Night and day difference.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

safe on the street? My car dont leave the driveway enless the bottle is on and the pressure is up.. You never know who or what might pull up beside you.I yanked out my front sway bar,put some v6 springs in the front and Im running 255/50 M/T's and I can leave out pretty hard on the street..
It dont dead hook but its hard to get any tire to dead hook on the street.

Can you please enlighten the others on how big of difference those springs made......?
I've been telling them all to do this since I joined this site!!
Not to mention the 3-6" of front end travel you gain without the front swaybar unhooked!!

I think I'll have to try the sway bar links this weekend, and see what it gets me out of the hole...
