I used to be a "no boost, no bottle" kinda guy, but the more I read about nitrous and our cars, the more I think I might have to get a kit. hmm.. I'm seriously thinking new rear end, sticky tires, and nitrous are in order for the winter, so I can come out and surprise some of my buddies next spring/summer. Some of you nitrous guys have some very impressive times for minimal mods.

If I could of hit 4th reliably when I was at the track last month, I'd have been in the high 11's with NOTHING more than a 150shot and a lid.

Nice. I've got a mild cam, and most of the bolt-ons. Made 356rwhp on a mustang dyno. I think this winter it'll be heads, rear end, sticky tires, and 125shot. My ultimate goal for next season is to break 120mph in the 1/4.

Go straight to the 150 shot and I could all but promise you'd be there. My car dyno'd 316 without the juice.... and my best trap ON the juice was 117.77mph. So... one could assume my RWHP to be around 450-460... Ur current 356RWHP+150HP puts you at the 500 mark! Best have a good tire and a better axle! You're over 120mph on the 150 shot for sure.

Yeah just go 150, I started out with 100. I was trapping 122 with the 100. I have a Mild or Small Cam.

Awesome, sounds good. Plus I'll be adding a set of better heads, so I think I'll reach my goal.

So, SOMBV, have you already upped the spray since you started this thread?

Yep Started at 75, next day was like I want more so I put on the 100. Waited a couple days and put on the 125, sprayed the 150 for the first time last night. I just gotta play with my window Switch, it was hitting to hard and first. I think I spun my M/Ts To about 70ish?

LMAO! I sure know that feeling. I used to run my switch at 3000RPM, but its set at 2400 now. As long as I warm up the tires first - the tires won't BLAZE in 1st - rather just bark and get just slightly skittish... the 150 shot on the 555RII's is really quite fun! You were turning M/Ts in 1st? DAMN! What pressure are you running?

25psi so my dumps have so more ground clearance. The whole time I was debating on letting out of it, didnt think they would just keep on spinning lol

I paid about $850 out the door with heater & pressure switch, window switch, TR6 plugs, and the complete wet kit straight from HSW. I'd do it again in a heartbeat too, Matt was a great source of info!

I gather it is safe for 150 shot on FRESH rebuilt completely stock LS1. Just got the car, only has flowmaster on it.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the LS1 world, (used to be a 12 second dsm'er) and am planning an LS1 swap into a '00 s10 and am considering some laughing gas down the road... could someone either explain or post a link that better explains these safety mods? ie: heater and pressure switch, window switch... etc?

    Thanks guys
