slp lid has plug for nitrous?
i just bought the hsw single nozzle dry and i already have an slp lid on the car and was wondering if that plug the the left side of it is for nitrous? i thought it was but looking at the instructions for the nitrous kit it says to mount it in the bend of lid 1-3 inches from the maf. it says that the farther from the maf than the leaner it will run. according to the directions that came from nitrous package if i mount the nozzle where the plug already is on the lid than it will run extremely lean

I think you're talking about the air pump hookup. For the 98 the lid should have come with a plug. For the 00-02 there is a hose and elbow piece that fit there and hook up to the air pump hose.

Some of those castings of the lids also have a plug for a IAT sensor. But as already stated I would NOT use that location.
Good Luck.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
