safety item ?s
If Iam running a WOT switch with an A4, do I need a window switch? I was going to run a bottle warmer and bottle pressure gauge.

i'd still put it, making sure not spraying through shifts and making sure you don't spray too early.

you don't have to. i used to use the arming switch as my 'window switch'. i would launch the car with the power off, then turn it on when i felt the car could take it. at the end of the track, the WOT switch would cut the power to the noids.

Put one on my A4, cheap insurance - just in case.
That and there is still that little issue with traction in first gear if your not running DR's.
Plus, I dont know if anyone agrees or not, but is it a good idea to be hitting red line and still spraying?
Have mine set at 3000 on 5600 off in every gear right now, but Im still new at this.

if your running a wet system a fuel pressure switch is a good idea an skydive120 spraying while you bounce off your rev limiter is a bad idea

if you bog off the line, the RPMs will be very low... and if you're spryaing @ that point, it's not nice !!!

I HAVE NEVER RAN ONE ON ANY AUTOMATIC CAR.
I grab that kit right out of the gate also. That initial 60 feet is where you see the most gain on the bottle.
The Goat was just doing 1.5 60 fts. on the 17"s stock converter. One stage
My kits are always on a hand held button. Weather it be a loose micro on a phone cable or a button on the shifter it is turned on/off with that button under MY control. Not a switch on the throttle body or carb for that matter.
It can be controlled MUCH better that way than loading and unloading the suspension by by pedaling the throttle.
The motor will almost always stay (WFO) fuel throttle and the kit will be turned on and off with my thumb.
Watched MANY cars get beat at the street races due to running off a wot switch only.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Sounds good....... Yeah these STUPID kids have ruined the whole street race scene.
I have been attending and participating street races for 19 years and have NEVER scene an accident or had ANYONE get hurt.
We are racing real cars (low 11 high 9 sec.). We dont just get next to someone in trafic and race up to 120 on pizza cutters with streets being passed ANYONE could pull out of....
