Is it safe to leave the bottle open? for how long?

Say I go to the track to run and watch or go out cruising on a friday night for a couple of hours, is it safe to leave the bottle open during that period of time or should I only open it right b4 I race then shut it off. I dont have a bottle opener and im not going to get one. I thought it would be easier to just leave it open for the time being so I wouldn't have to stop if im moving and run to the back of my car to open it. But I was only going to do this if its safe. And any other time I wasn't planing on using it the bottle would be closed and turned off.

I leave mine open all day at the track with no problems !!! As long as there's no leaks, you'll be fine !

Yes it will be fine. I have had bottles open for days and multiple ones lumbed in series for that matter
Just don't leave it on if it is sitting in direct sunlight or you could loose your fill and the blowoff disc.
