and a FPSS (Fuel Pressure Safety Switch)
and a FPSS (Fuel Pressure Safety Switch). The last thing you want to do is run lean with N2O...........

NOS is a brand.. you should not ask what brand if you have decided on one already. Nitrous is probably what you're asking. Most people will flame the hell out of you if you say you want NAWWZ.
Wet and dry both have their advantages. If you're putting it on a stock car, I'd go wet. No need to upgrade fuel delivery (pump, injectors ect). Dry is also harder to tune correctly. Read up on the subject in the stickys.
What size shot.. anywhere under 150. Always start with a small shot and tune from there up. Won't hurt to get a tune for nitrous either after its installed and BEFORE you spray.
I have seen lots of kits, but from what I've seen I like HSW and NX. I have NX stuff and my buddy had the HSW kit. Both are good from experiance. Safety equiptment like a FPSS, Window switch, and WOT switch are all great things to have and will save you from simple mistakes. A Nitrous pressure gauge and other gauges will come in handy too.Last edited by Corvettekid82; 08-14-2008 at 09:24 AM.

There are so many its hard to list them all, but here are some off the top of my head:
FPSS will shut down the n02 system if the fuel pressure drops.
Lean Shut Down Switch shuts down if a lean condition is noted.
Window Switch will activate the spray between set rpms. Helps with traction and not destroying your A4's by spraying thru shifts.
Nitrous Filter removes any contaminates that may clog lines/solenoids.
Bottle Heater maintains bottle pressure within safe ranges.
Blow Down Tube routes n02 outside the cabin in case of bottle pressure rupture.
A/F gauges are good to moniter your A/F ratio.. wide band is really the way to go. Narrow band and you'll have a light show unless you're WOT
Wide Open Throttle switch will activate your system only when throttle is fully open. You dont want to spray at 1/2 throttle on accident.
Nitrous Pressure gauge to monitor the pressure in the bottle if its mounted remotely.

So I'll definitely need the window switch and the FPSS. I actually don't know all of the extra equipment he has, so I'll find that out and report back. I apologize about the thread jack, but I didn't think my questions were worthy enough to make a new thread.

Keep in mind the MicroEDGE controller. It features a long list of safety equipment to keep you on the straight and narrow. Take a look here, its on pre-sale until the end of the month.
