why would you fear detonation? people run race gas with nitrous all the time. As long as you are running a colder plug and you dont go lean then you willbe just fine with any kind of octane booster. I believe NX sells some stuff thats supposed to be really good though, I think it is supposed to bring your fuel up to about a race gas octane.

HIGH OCTANE fuels. The best you can get. Super Unleaded, 5 star, or whatever has the highest Octane rating in your local fuel station! This is important! Or if you want to add some additional octane booster that will also help protect your engine from detonation.

We use KLOTZ. It has a small amount of Nitro in it so you must tune with it to get A/R right. But as a added bonus it make your tune on the rich side with plane pumpgas which works out great!!

I can get you 103+ octane NO problem. Just mix it with your 91 and you have a nice safe blend.

This is the ONLY way I used to use Nitrous on my old car and I never had any problems with detonation.
