I am new to Nitrous and I have some questions. I plan to install a 150 shot of wet NO2 on my 2000 TA, WS6. I could go with a lower shot if my stock bottom end can't handle it. The engine has a stock bottom end, stock fuel rails and stock injectors. Do I need to upgrade my fuel pump, injectors or fuel rails? I know I have to run colder plugs, going with NGK TR6. What about tuning? I do have HP Tuners but what do I need to do to tune for NO2? I have heard to log my WOT run and check my AFR. Do I need to take timing out of WOT? Anyone have any links about tuning for NOS?

for a 150 shot you should pull/retard some timing anything less than 150 you dont need too, your stock fuel pump is good for 150 or less granted your car is stock............and i dont recommend you buy a nitrous kit and put the largest jets/shot you have for the first use

The car is not stock. I have headers, heads, cam and slp ls6 intake. About how much timing should I pull out? Shoud I pull timing out from the 3000 rpm to 6500 rpm range?

I would pull 2 degrees.

with a window switch that is the ideal rpm range and i agree with 2 degrees, i have read about it in articles dealing with nitrous........but start small and work your way too the 150 jets

OK Thanks, I am already running 11.5 in the quarter at 5000 ft above sea level. I just wanted to hit the 10's. I may go with 100 shot first and then go from there.
