nitrous purge question? Info

OK im putting in a purge kit with my nitrous. When drag racing am I supposed to purge with the bottle open or shut? Is it safe to purge with open and shut or just one or the other? To clear my lines how long do i purge for to clear them, how many times? Will my lines be empty when im done or will they automatically refill back up from the nitrous bottle? If i keep purging am I wasting my nitrous? And last question does purging help you get a better stronger spray when you use it down the track? Thanks for the input?

You will purge the lines after opening the bottle, right before using it. You will waste some of the nitrous, but you need to clear the lines out right before spraying it to make sure that you get a good strong spray. After using the nitrous and you shut the bottle you need to purge the lines empty to take the pressure off of the sileniods. Purging the lines makes sure you have no air in the lines, because you do not want an air pocket in the lines that could damage the engine.

After shutting the bottle you purge the line to take the pressure off the noid, because keeping pressure on them can hurt it and cause it not to work correctly.
