LT1 help with ZEX PURGE KIT install please

Looking to install a new zex dual purge kit on my ram air but would like to run the lines through the hood inlets how would I go about this and where can I get longer steel lines? Can I just get some steel line and flare it? ans does anyone else have a zex dry system on their LT1?

Compression fittings and plastic line or any metal line will work for purge, there is no pressure build up on the outlet side of the solenoid.

really? thank you for the help, I'll have to figure out how to exactly go about this as I need to run the lines up the hood than into the opening of the ram air grills..thank you so much again

Yes really people are selling cheap purge kits on ebay with ice maker hose for the purge line.

I run plastic air line for my purge outlet without any problems. It's very easy to route and very inexpensive.

thank you so much for all the help and info everyone..im not sure what size I have but I'll just bring it to an auto parts store and look for line that size can it be hard plastic or bendable plastic?
