Can nitrous toast your O2s?
I'm getting a P0420 code and surging @ idle / stuttering at low RPMs while the engine is cold. Could the spray have killed one of my O2s? Is this common?
I swapped the rear O2s side to side to see if the code A. comes back at all, B. comes back as P0430, or C. just never comes back at all...

no. spray would have killed the cat, which is the reason for the code.

Is it common for spray to kill the cats?
The scanner I borrowed from the neighbor shows the O2s heater is not clearing checks. Its been over 150mi and they still haven't checked out OK according to the scanner.
52k mi and the cats are toast? Yikes.
Now the real question. What kinda power gains do I get for cutting out the cats?
