Would it be ok to put the bottle behind the driver seat facing in? I have T-tops and want to leave the storage racks intact in the rear. Or is it a must for the nozzle to be pointed forward?

if you mount the bottle sideways (left to right of the vehicle), you still have to have the top of the bottle up higher than the rear. instead of the siphon tube pointed straight downward, you turn it 45* towards the rear of the car.

Or Mount It In Your Spare Tire Area
12-05-2007, 01:37 AM #4
Spare tire area is the route I went. Everything is concealed until you pop the hood. Of course I don't know what good hiding things is doing me, because the other Saturday I spent at the dragstrip with some friends and made probably 5 passes. I put up a new best of 11.3 at 122. Two days later I was hanging out talking to a friend of mine that works at a parts store and another guy I know comes in and says "heard you ran an 11.2". I told him close but it was an 11.3. Guess my low profile has been shot to shit. LOL
