375rwhp + 100 dry kit, possible w/stock injectors?

    Question 375rwhp + 100 dry kit, possible w/stock injectors?

I just finished up a cam swap on my 2000 Camaro. It made 322 rwhp with stock cam, so I'm guesstimating as high as 375rwhp when it is re-tuned. (Guessing high to be safe)

    From what I have found, the 2000 LS1 F-body has 26.6# injectors.

I also have an NOS #5177 dry kit for the car, which is capable of 100hp according to their advertisement/claims.

Assuming car can be tuned for 75-100hp nitrous shot, am I asking for trouble with stock injectors or not?

I'd rather scrap the whole nitrous idea than to start buying bigger injectors, fuel pumps, etc...In other words, I do NOT want to open up a whole can of worms and start on the slippery slope of spending a whole lot of cash, just to be able to spray the car once or twice a year at a test and tune...

    Thanks in advance.

I would say no. Instead of scraping it though just get some SVO 30# injectors snap them in and have it all tuned. Then you will be good to go.

I would suggest scraping your cheapy dry kit and starting with a quality wet system. I only put dry kits on rental cars.
Buy a Walbro 255 pump for around a $100 and a wet kit of your choice and your good to 200 all day with the right tune.
I really like the plate kits that go BEHIND the throttle body not just nozzle kits.
They are a much more even distribution from cyl. to cyl.
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

i've dyno'ed 482 rwhp on stock pump and stock 26# fuel injectors with a wet kit. going dry, you'll need more injectors and fuel pump. go wet and you won't.

I've sold the dry kit and will stay NA for the time being...Don't need another money pit just yet.

You cna buy used 30# for 250-200 shipped and you would have been good to go. That would have bee all you would have needed with the dry kit. Install it all at wonce, get the car tuned N/A and do a shot on the dyno to monitor AFR. If its good than spray away, 200 bucks and you were another 100 hp. This is what I am doing with one of my cars, not sure if I'll do heads just yet but gathering everything for the cam and will buy a single shot dry and hope for low 11's. Maybe get gready, change the pill to 150 and hope for high 10's
