is 125 shot safe?
just like the title says i have a ls1 engine from a corvette and i wanted to put a 125 nitrous wet shot. will that be safe. this is my DD so i want it to be reliable. im not going to use the nitrous very much, only if i need it. just want to make sure my engine isnt going to "blow up" on me.

ive shot 150 shot on a stock tune and timing for a while with no problems
i would at least get it on a dyno to make sure the a/f is safe, but yes most of the time a ls1 will take a 100- 150 shot easy

Depends on how much power you are making. I take it you have the stock bottom end. How much power are you making?

i dont know how much power im making. im in the middle of a v6 to v8 swap and am planning on putting nitrous on it while im doing it. it will be tuned because of the cam. im kinda guessing the power to be around 400-450.

safety all comes down to the tune.
I have a heads and cam package on a stock bottem end with muitiple 150 shots thrwon at it. Most will say to never do that to a stock bottom end. I have even run a couple 200+ shots as well.
Get it tuned for the jug, and use every safety device they make- yes you will spend more money but it will be a lot safer. My A/F shutdown switch has saved me a couple of times.

Chris,
Take a look at our all-out package. It comes with just about every safety feature available as well as a few items that will help make your nitrous kit consistent and reliable.
If you have any questions on how any of the products work or what they do, please just ask. Thanks!
