    ~A Few Nitrous Questions~

Ok now I have a few questions, I have a 01 WS6 (M6) with around 60k miles. I want to put on a wet kit on my car, but have a few concerns.

How hard is nitrous on a motor when using all the safety precautions (fpss, window switch, WOT, bottle warmer, purge) Keep in mind i wont be spraying constantly! (except at first ) it will only be occasionaly on the streets when having some fun and maybe every now and then at the track.

Also what is a good number to start with, I was thinking 100shot.

What is a good company to go with, I have had excelent luck with NX and will most likely go with them. But would like to know others experiences with other companies.

Now I need to know whether or not the direct port kit is worth the money? I dont mind saving up more to be safer. I want the kit to be hidden as much as possible, but not the most important thing.

Also i would like to know where i can order some tanks for a refilling station, i have a couple empty tanks in my garage, but have no idea where to get them filled. I always thought you have to have a license, but I'm not 100% sure about it. This isnt something i will buy right off the bat, but something to consider for the future.

Sorry about all the questions, and I appreicate all the help if any that I get.

    Thanks again! Ryan

Your on the right track by using all the components your listing....Direct Port setups are more for those going over 250 shots....you want your spray as centered in your airstream as possible. Many would argue getting your nozzle in the center of the airstream would impeded you running in the NA mode....nah...minimum at best...100 dry shot...get your nozzle out in the center of the airstream and you will get a much better reading=fuel added...refills...most race shops or drag strip fill em for you...the NAPA here fills em....
Back on your setup....many dry shot users are running CAI's and put the nozzle dead center of the cone filter....just a thought...if your running a lid...you can center the nozzle ( and hide it well) down in the air duct....but try and get it centered and in the middle of the air as you can.

ZEX kits looks safe. I hear a wetshot is safer than a dry (opinions may vary). Change yer spark plugs to TR6's (One degree colder). To hide the lines, simply use black wire loom and it'll blend in. Sorry, I don't use nitrous yet...YET!

I would go with the NX Wet kit. Around a 100-125 should should be safe.

The most important things to watch out for when using nitrous are:
1-Cylinder pressure. Don't spray below 2800-3000rpm...a window switch will help here.
2-Detonation. Don't go lean! Make sure your fuel system is adequate and in top condition. Copper plugs are IMO a must...
3-Greed. Start small and make sure that you upgrade other supporting systems as you increase the shot.

I use a TNT wet-kit and have been very satisfied.

the hit is defined by the difference in tq when activated.
the 3 decisive factors are the shot amount, bottle pressure and RPM it hits.
wet vs dry won't make much difference, since getting 100 shot means you are getting nitrous and fuel for an extra 100hp... regardless if fuel comes through a solenoid or directly through the injectors

I run a cold fusion wet kit. I have sprayed everything from 100-200 on my car. It is a single nozzle kit and when I used the 200 it popped out the pipe several times and I haven't ran it since. I stick to about 125 for myself.

sounds like it needed a tighter plug gap,or possibly a rich tuneup.
