1997 Grand Cherokee- 1999 Firebird.
Soooo...the cops just left my neighbors house.
Which is strange because I live in a really quiet neighborhood. I looked out my bedroom window after I heard some yelling and I saw 2 police cars and cops walking in ant out of their house several times. Aside from going over and asking them (yeah right) is there any way to look at the local police log online or something?

If you know their names you can probably check online court records. Most states provide them for free. Good for checking out new girlfriends too.

If you know them why don't you just walk over and ask if everything is ok? They will tell you what is going on if they want to share.

Probably a domestic, not a very rare occurence. Happens to the best families. Soemone starts shouting, other spouse gets scared. It's probably nothing. Maybe they're getting divorced...Mind your own business.
If you saw an ambulance, then there's something you could ask someone about. But the usual 2 cars and cops deal is for domestics. Doesn't mean your neighbors beat each other, just that there might have been some yelling and one of them got scared. No big deal.
If you NEED to make it your business, then ask if everything's okay.

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
Or maybe they came with a warrant and your neighbors are serial killers. Shit if it's my neighbors i would like to know. It's my business if my kids are living right next to them. Get a scanner and next time you see flashing lights turn it on. Also check your local news paper, if someone got arrested they will most likely post it in the local & state section. If it wasn't our business, then why would they post it in the paper?

who cares if he wants too know about his neighbors, as long as he doesnt start spreading rumors there is no harm done finding out what it was all about. I would watch the papers they usually have stuff about charges.

2 cars + cops = domestic. Happens all the time. Did they have vests? If they did, then it WAS a domestic.
Is there something wrong with me that when I typed "2 cars + cops" I thought "2 girls 1 cup"? Thanks LS1.com

You know, a couple gets into a shouting match, one of em threatens the other, they get scared and call the cops. That would be a domestic...Also, husband beats shit out of wife, wife calls cops. That's why the cops always have vests on, too. Tricky little unpredictable things domestics are. Hard to sort it out, that's why there's very rarely any arrests. Spouse doesn't want to press charges, so the cops can't really do much.
In NY, the police have to fill out a Domestic Incident Report whenever they're called to one, but usually no arrests are made so it can be hard to find anything out about it unless you have a few strings you can pull.
