A little TLC for my 2002 Z06
Well, being busy doing other people's cars has negated time for my vette
I wanted to do a quick review on the products I've used while I'm at it...
Last Saturday:
-I did a quick wash and shampoo the exterior with Duragloss
-Wiped down with Prima Slick QD
-Applied JW Acrylic Jett:Trigger (Paint Sealant)
Monday:
-Washed the car again, and hit it with Prima Slick QD
-Poorboys Natural Look inside engine bay (Black plastic parts)
-Westley's Bleche Wite on tires
Tuesday:
Washed yet again just plain water to sheet off dust
-I decided to clean up my hood liner. No before pics, trust me, it needed a bath
I sprayed down with 303 Cleaner, and Zep APC at full strenght, just some light mist. I had covered the engine and front CAI with a large plastic bag to keep water off electronic. I run some clear water to wash away dust, and dirt. Left hood open to dry
I did the inside of the hood (painted area) with JW Gloss: Quick Detailer
I cleaned the wheels with JW Prime, and topped with Rejex
I proceeded to wipe down the car with Prima Slick QD
I've been using this QD for about two weeks, and it's by far the best QD I've ever owned. Really easy to use, no streaks, applies and removes like a dream... It makes you look forward to use it every time you've got a chance. That good in my opinion;
It's a polymer-fortified quick detailer, no silicone, and you can use it on glass, and plastic
Here are some pics I took today...
Any questions on the products I've used, please feel free to ask...

I used 303 Aerospace Cleaner. Any Fabric Cleaner for convertible tops would work. Depending on how bad it is, you may want to do a spot clean first, then spray down the whole liner and let it do its work before you rinse it off
If still bad, and don't see any other way of making it look better, try another option, like spray painting it with flat black. Of course you'll have to remove it and do it outside the car. I've seen some Corvette guys doing it this way and actually come out really good

Nothing like the microfiber towel mod.
Got a couple pics of his car while he was doing the work. But they are reflections off my car.
Front across the street. Where you see my car is where I got this reflection from.
Goose is the man when it comes to detailing. So many products.
I am not allowed to have a bad looking car.

Looks awsome Goose! You are the detail master no doubt. Where did you buy the quick detailer you used? I have been using Meguires quick detailer but have been searching for something better. Thanks

I bought it locally from Detailers Paradise and it's called Prima Slick. I've had let a friend borrowed for a car show over the weekend and he was static about it, he also used it on a black car, and was telling me all about it. Now, I hide it from him
