    re

I have the exact same cam but stock ported heads. It is a good daily driver cam and great sound. That stall will kill ur MPG tho. My cam took like maybe 1 or 2 mpg off but the stall took like 3-4. with those heads and that cam, that is at least 75 HP over stock.

I have the exact same cam w/2800 stall, off road stainless works header, stock heads w/upgraded beehive springs, oem lifters. I lost roughly 4 mpg in the city driving.

Did you not do ANY research on those heads at all? They barely flow better than stock set of 243s.

no At the time I didn't know anything about engines & performance modification. I just wanted to maintain driveability at the same time. Now I know lot more from when I first started.I do like my set up except I want to put better a/m heads. My goal is to reach 400 rwhp. Currently 363.00 rwhp.

That head, cam and intake combo should have no problem hitting 400 at the wheels through a 6 speed.

Whatever. Be happy with your $1600 aftermarket heads that barely hit 270cfm and burn as much oil as gas. They're designed to be ported. Out of the box they suck, plain and simple. Just don't be surprised when you find yourself 30+HP short of other similar combos running ported stock heads, or when your trap speeds resemble that of a bolton car. I've seen what they flow on a bench compared to numerous other LS1 heads. However, I don't run them. Take that as you wish

first of all if i wanted a whatever attitude ill ask my ex g/f.i also am putting 333rwhp and 344 torq with bolt ons and without longtubes,so if i can gain 75hp+from this combo ill take it, and if i need more hp down the road ill get them reworked to flow better, its no big deal so please keep your smart comments to yourself! take this as you wish.

the dart heads will work fine they wil not burn oil and they make good power, I ran the out of the box 225 head last year on a shit track they ran 11.42 at 123mph. you could go with the 225 head with a M6 or auto with converter.

The 225s might work OK, but the 205s leave A LOT to be desired.

I never used the 205 runner head so i can't say but the 225 head flow past 600 lift and don't stall they flow well to 700 lift.

I don't think you will see any performance gain from the afr 205 Vs the dart 225 head, the both make good power.

I couldn't disagree more. Not only will those AFR 205s make more power than the Dart 225, but they will do it with better throttle repsonse and economy.

you can think what you will, but they don 't flow any better and haven 't made any more power and ported they are not as good
