Gto Smashed.........
Got the worst phone call last week from the Misses crying and hyper ventalating and through the cloud all I made out was the Goat is now through a block wall........
Yes these are VERY disturbing I know!!!! She went through 2 chain link fences and then lodged it through a block wall a little past the front door hinges.
I knew I should of NEVER put regular street tires on it.........11,000 miles and she might be dead........
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Maybe still waiting to hear from the insurence company....... I had to hurry and swap most everything back......
But the car is one of the cleanest I had seen. It was NEVER parked outside over night and not a flaw on the 2 tone red interior.
It does have some fresh 3.90's in the ass too.
Milage does stay with the guage cluster on these cars also.

Looks like it can be saved. They don't make anymore GTOs and shame to see our numbers dwindle.

Yeah it's hard to see the dimples on the drivers side..... She slide through the fence and the links dimpled the entire side including the A-pilar. the only panel that wasn't majorly damaged was the pass quater.
Fucking sucks that was my baby that was why it had soooo low of milage. Alot of the 06's I've been checking out have way more miles than my 05 did.

I know from experiance the sinking feeling you've got right now. I've wrecked some of myt finest muscle cars in my time.....I mean fucked em up big times......I just recently tore the shit out of the GTO myself this past October......slid sideways into a big electrical box.....
I tore her ass up good. State Farm started writing checks and didnt stop....I was at the body shop/Pontiac dealer damn near everyday during the rebuild....all I can tell you is this....State Farm paid for everything....I upgraded damn near everything....car is better than before......so hang in there...it took me 4-5 months but the GTO is back to the high tens....looks better than ever and wins every car show I put her in.....so it aint the end of the world.......
So my advise to you is this.....what you have here is an oppurtunity to upgrade....State Farm bought the new Gravana Hood...all the new grills/wheels everything and I got to choose So have fun with it......and I feel bad for your wife....hey shit happens man....

Torrid Red- 2004 Pontiac GTO
Sorry for your loss Man!!! I feel your pain though. About a year ago this time I was driving my GOAT and it started to rain. As I was entering the highway off a horsehoe on-ramp and I spun and lost control and rear ended a light post. I wanted to end it all right there, but fortunately for me it ended up being just cosmetic damage, nothing structural. I was able to mash on those breaks and downshift enough to slow her roll. It still sucked though because I was without the GOAT for over a month!!! Damn shop kept delaying the return date. I actually got into it with the manager because they had delayed the return date of the vehicle like 8 times and I had enough of thier BS. It helped because I got the GOAT back later that week. Still sorry for your loss. The pics made me shed a tear j/k!!! It wasn't a pretty sight.

I called them today and they said they have yet to get it on a lift to look at the underbody damage but soooooo far they say it looks repairable.
God, I really don't know if I want it back......
If I do get it back I'll tell you right now it won't be going back in their stock.
She will get some new inerds..... It will be running the old 11.20's on the mtr and low 10 on the bottle. With the 17's looking stock still but just will NO longer sound stock.

I do this stuff every day. I'd be shocked if they fixed it, especially since its your own insurance you're going through. I don't know if I'd want it back. Regardless of the total they come up with they're going to have supplemental damage.
PM me once you get the repair figure.
