I don't know very much about internals of an engine, is there anywhere online that you guys could suggest to help me out a little?
I really need help with cams, heads, rocker arms, pushrods, etc.

do a search on this website on the keywords you just typed in, individual search on each keyword and maybe a brand name of whatever you are searching.
also there are distinct sections of this board, for like internal engine, external engine, suspension, wheels etc.... the main forums are divided on this page.http://www.ls1.com/forums/index.php

Do you want to learn how all that stuff works or what? I could explain it to you, but it would take up the better part of a day for me to type and take up a lot of room. Go to www.howstuffworks.com and look up engines. A pushrod engine is what you want to find. Or look up how cams work. That's in there too.
The bottom of this page is a diagram that basically shows you how it works.

Thats exactly what I was looking for blacklt1z28. i just wanted to know how everything worked. I was also trying to figure out what whats the difference between cams and how to determine whats best for your engine.
