What Are They Made Of?

I was just wondering what the black Z28 badges were made out of? I was thinking of stripping the paint off if they were polished underneath. Has anyone tried this?

I think RK Sport sells some different types-like chrome and stainless.

And they sell Carbon Fiber (look) side badges, rear lettering, and nose badges.

If you want a set of awesome fender badges check out "Classic Industries", they sell the origional 1968,69, 1970-1972 Z28 badges that were pop metal, and speed nutted into the fenders.
