Intake Manifold
Could someone tell me (w/ pics if applicable) what/where all the sensors are on the intake manifold. Long story, but someone broke into my car and stole the top half of my engine. So I have to replace the intake manifold with all the sensors. And I need some help. Thanks.

I don't drive the car during the winter. So I park it with a cover locked on it, but it sits outside. Anyway, one night, they torn the cover, popped the door lock, and popped the hood. No damage to the hood, lock, or door. The frist night, they stole my CAI all the way the throttle body. Coolant everywhere. So I couldn't drive the car to move it, so it was a sitting duck. A week later, they came back and stole my intake manifold, fule injectors, fuel rails, PCM, and alternator. And they cut my fuel lines. So, I'm trying to piece the puzzle back together without seeing the pinished detailed picture. I got most of the parts lined back up though. Just have to get them and install them.

People that would do that should be tortured to death. I'll gladly do it for you if you catch em. I will also take pics or give you wire colors etc. PM me with an email address and tell me what you need.

Thats Fucked UP man! Sorry to hear that! Somebodys got some balls to do that. If I caught them doing that to my car, I would have knocked em out with a baseball bat, and then smashed every finger on their hands.
What would you have done?

I keep playing that scenario in my head over and over again if I would have caught them. I would have snuck up behind them with a baseball bat and taken out their knees. Then, while they were on the ground, I would have broken both their legs so they couldn't get away. Then definately smash their hands to bits so they could never work on another car again.
Back in the good ol days, they used to cut off their hands if they were caught stealing. I think that's a good punishment. If only I could figure out who it was...I would be in jail for a long time.

The sad part is if you did beat the Fu%* out of them, they would sew YOUR ass off. Tell me how much that makes sence.

Yeah, no joke.
But if I do find out who it was. I'm going to hit them with puntative damages so hard, I'd wind up owning their next 3 generations of family.

The people that did this are either people that know you, or have otherwise seen under the hood of your car most likely. They probably didnt pick you out randomly. Someone had to have some knowledge of your schedule, and those around you. You dont just take the intake off of an LT1 in 20 seconds and jet out of there. It takes more than just balls to pull that off. And if your car sits in front of your house next to a street, they're vulnerable to being seen for a very long period of time (for someone committing a crime).

Well, that's the thing. Only a few good friends know what I had done to my car. And they are the only ones who have seen under the hood of my car. And only one of them really knows where I live. And none of them have an LT1 f-body or really know how to work on cars. And my one friend has a custom 06 mustang GT and has no reason to do it. Plus, I talk to the guy a few times a week and I trust him with anything. So, that's why I think its a random thing. And they were definately professionals who knew what they were going for.

Yeah, its bullshit. I don't think I will ever get over it.
But I got a question, should I use anything on the bolts for the intake manifold? And if I should, what should I use? (ie, loctite, antiseize...)

Ok, thanks. I just didn't know if the bolts came in contact with water or anything. Didn't want any leaks. Such an unexpected project.

So, is your car up and running?

Nope, still waiting on the parts. The guy just got my check, so it should clear soon and he will send out the parts when it does. But its just sitting in the garage, leaking fuel, breaking my heart, wanting to roam the streets.
